Available

Web app

Full vault and terminal in your browser.

Signing
Nothing to install, so nothing to sign.
Runs on
Any current desktop or mobile browser.
Updates
Always the current version.
Available Unsigned build

Kutrion API

Version 1.1.6 for Linux.

Desktop API client that borrows credentials from your vault instead of storing them, so a token never lands in a client config file.

Signing
Unsigned. No apt repository behind the .deb.
Runs on
Linux x86_64 (amd64) only. No macOS or Windows build offered here.
Updates
No updater: an installed copy cannot install a new version. Come back here to upgrade.
Unsigned build खोलना

Both Linux builds are unsigned, and the .deb is a standalone file rather than an apt repository. Nothing will block you from installing, but apt cannot verify or upgrade it for you.

  1. AppImage: make it executable with the command below, then run it. Without the executable bit a double-click does nothing and reports no error.
  2. Debian or Ubuntu: install the .deb with `sudo apt install ./Kutrion-API-1.1.6-amd64.deb` — apt resolves its dependencies, `dpkg -i` alone does not.
chmod +x Kutrion-API-1.1.6-amd64.AppImage
Available Unsigned build

Kutrion Transfer

Version 1.1.9 for macOS, Windows and Linux.

Standalone file transfer client: dual-pane SFTP, FTP/FTPS, WebDAV, S3, Azure Blob and Swift, with the credential staying in your vault.

Signing
Unsigned. SmartScreen interrupts the Windows installer once; Linux blocks nothing.
Runs on
Windows x64, Linux x86_64. No macOS build yet; no ARM or 32-bit build.
Updates
The Windows installer and the AppImage update themselves. The .deb does not — reinstall from here.
Unsigned build खोलना

Both builds are unsigned, so Windows stops the installer the first time you run it. Linux does not block anything, but the AppImage needs one command before it will start.

  1. Windows: run the installer. SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" — choose More info, then Run anyway. There is no way to avoid that prompt until the installer is signed.
  2. Linux AppImage: make it executable with `chmod +x Kutrion-Transfer-1.1.9-x86_64.AppImage`, then run it. Without the executable bit a double-click does nothing and reports no error.
  3. Debian or Ubuntu: install the .deb with `sudo apt install ./Kutrion-Transfer-1.1.9-amd64.deb` — apt resolves its dependencies, `dpkg -i` alone does not. There is no apt repository behind it, so apt cannot upgrade it for you.

There is no macOS download here yet. The build needs a Mac to produce and none has been published, so this card covers Windows and Linux only.

Available Unsigned build

Kutrion Terminal

Version 1.1.9 for macOS, Windows and Linux.

Standalone SSH and terminal client with tabs, SFTP and a local shell. The SSH credential stays in your vault and never reaches the machine.

Signing
Unsigned on every platform. SmartScreen interrupts the Windows installer once.
Runs on
Windows x64, Linux x86_64. No ARM or 32-bit build; no macOS build published yet.
Updates
Only the AppImage updates itself. The Windows installer and the .deb do not — reinstall from here.
Unsigned build खोलना

Every build of this client is unsigned, so all three operating systems stop it the first time you open it. That is normal for a beta build and takes one extra step on each of them.

  1. macOS: drag Kutrion Terminal to Applications, then clear the download quarantine with the command below and open it normally. If you would rather not use Terminal: System Settings, Privacy and Security, Open Anyway.
  2. Windows: run the installer. SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" — choose More info, then Run anyway. There is no way to avoid that prompt until the installer is signed.
  3. Linux AppImage: make it executable with `chmod +x Kutrion-Terminal-1.1.9-x86_64.AppImage`, then run it. Without the executable bit a double-click does nothing and reports no error.
  4. Debian or Ubuntu: install the .deb with `sudo apt install ./Kutrion-Terminal-1.1.9-amd64.deb` — apt resolves its dependencies, `dpkg -i` alone does not. There is no apt repository behind it, so apt cannot upgrade it for you.
xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Kutrion Terminal.app"

On macOS, Control-clicking the app and choosing Open will not work. Apple removed that bypass in macOS 15.

Available Unsigned build

Browser extension

For Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

Autofill and capture for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. No store carries it yet, so you load the files yourself.

Signing
Not signed by a browser store: no AMO signature on the .xpi, no signed .crx for Chrome.
Runs on
Desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox 128 or newer. No mobile browser build.
Updates
No auto-update: the manifest carries no update_url. Load it again from here for a newer build.
Unsigned build खोलना

Neither build is signed by a browser store, so both load as unsigned extensions. Chrome and Edge take the .zip in developer mode and keep it; Firefox takes the .xpi only as a temporary add-on.

  1. Chrome or Edge — the route that lasts: download the .zip, unzip it, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder. It stays installed across restarts.
  2. Firefox — testing only: open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose Load Temporary Add-on and select the .xpi. It works immediately and is gone the next time Firefox starts.
  3. Either build talks to this site and no other, so sign in through the extension once it is loaded.
unzip kutrion-extension.zip -d kutrion-extension

Release Firefox will not install the .xpi permanently: Gecko refuses an add-on AMO has not signed, and AMO signing is not available to this project. The temporary add-on lasts until Firefox restarts, so Chrome's unpacked load is the durable one.

Available Unsigned build

Windows

Version 1.1.7 for Windows.

Native desktop app, one installer for x64 and arm64. A first install: nothing was published for Windows before, so there is nothing to upgrade or remove.

Signing
Unsigned. No Authenticode certificate, so SmartScreen warns once on first run.
Runs on
x64 and arm64 in one installer.
Updates
Updates itself from this site's feed; NSIS updates work unsigned.
Unsigned build खोलना

This beta is not signed with an Authenticode certificate, so Windows SmartScreen interrupts the installer the first time you run it. That is normal for a beta build and takes one extra click.

  1. Run the installer you downloaded.
  2. SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. The installer then runs normally and installs Kutrion for the current user.

There is no way to avoid that prompt until the installer is signed, and no setting on your machine changes it — an Authenticode certificate is a purchase rather than a build option.

Available Unsigned build

Linux

Version 1.1.7 for Linux.

Native desktop app as an AppImage or a .deb package. The .deb retires the package installed under the former name in the same apt step.

Signing
Unsigned. No apt repository behind the .deb.
Runs on
x86_64 (amd64) here. arm64 builds are on the feed but not linked yet; no 32-bit build.
Updates
The AppImage updates itself from this site's feed. The .deb does not — reinstall from here.
Unsigned build खोलना

Both Linux builds are unsigned, and the .deb is a standalone file rather than an apt repository. Nothing will block you from installing, but apt cannot verify or upgrade it for you.

  1. AppImage: make it executable with the command below, then run it. Without the executable bit a double-click does nothing and reports no error.
  2. Debian or Ubuntu: install the .deb with `sudo apt install ./Kutrion-1.1.7-amd64.deb` — apt resolves its dependencies, `dpkg -i` alone does not.
chmod +x Kutrion-1.1.7-x86_64.AppImage

CLI

Version 1.1.6 for any machine with Node 18 or newer.

Scriptable access from the shell as kt, installed with npm from a tarball; @kutrion/cli is not on the npm registry.

Signing
Not code-signed, and not on the npm registry. Nothing but this site vouches for the tarball.
Runs on
Any machine with Node 18 or newer. No runtime dependencies.
Updates
No auto-update and no version check. Install again from this page.
Install से पहले

Installs with npm from the downloaded file. It needs Node 18 or newer, and it has no default server — you tell it which Kutrion deployment to talk to, which is why the same build works against any deployment.

  1. Check your Node version first: `node -v` must report 18 or newer.
  2. Download the tarball, then install it from the folder you saved it in with the command below. The leading ./ is required — without it npm reads the name as a git repository, not a file.
  3. Point it at a server the first time: `kt --base <url> login` remembers that server, or export KT_API_BASE, or pass --base on a single command.
npm i -g ./kutrion-cli-1.1.6.tgz

`npm i -g @kutrion/cli` does not work — the package is not on the public npm registry. The tarball needs no account and pulls in no dependencies.

Available

MCP for AI assistants

Not a separate download: install the CLI above and run kt mcp install --client <id> to connect your assistant to the hosted MCP endpoint. Needs a plan with agent access.
